NjordIC en EPI Group join forces
Meedhuizen, The Netherlands / Manchester, United Kingdom — 28 November 2025
NjordIC B.V. and EPI Group Ltd. are pleased to announce the signing of a cooperation agreement to strengthen the delivery of Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) consultancy and risk management services for offshore energy and infrastructure projects worldwide.
Through this partnership, the two companies will combine EPI’s international geoscience expertise with NjordIC’s specialised UXO capabilities to offer comprehensive, high-quality support across all project phases — from early risk assessment to clearance and ALARP (As Low As Reasonably Practicable) certification. The partnership will serve projects across the Asia-Pacific, South Pacific, Arabian Gulf, and U.S. waters, reflecting both organisations’ shared commitment to safe and sustainable offshore development.
“This collaboration allows us to offer clients an integrated solution that unites geophysical excellence with advanced UXO risk management,” said Andy Smart, CEO at EPI Group. “Together, we can deliver safer, more efficient, and more informed offshore operations.”
“We are proud to join forces with EPI Group,” said Erik Wildeman, Co-owner of NjordIC. “Our aligned values of quality, transparency, and technical integrity make this cooperation a natural fit. By combining EPI’s global reach with NjordIC’s unique UXO expertise, we are ideally positioned to support offshore developers in meeting the highest safety and environmental standards.”
The cooperation includes coordinated project delivery, and continuous alignment of methodologies and communication. Both parties aim to set a new benchmark for integrated offshore risk management by combining geoscientific and UXO expertise within a single collaborative framework.
