UXO Consultancy OWF Zeevonk
NjordIC has been selected to provide UXO consultancy services for the Zeevonk Offshore Wind Farm, a joint venture between Vattenfall and Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP).
Zeevonk, located about 62 km off the Dutch west coast in the IJmuiden Ver Beta zone, combines an offshore wind farm with a floating solar park and an electrolyser to produce green hydrogen at the Port of Rotterdam. The first 1 GW is expected to be operational around 2029, with the remaining capacity by 2032.
NjordIC’s scope includes geophysical data interpretation, UXO identification and clearance support, onshore advisory services, and ALARP certification. All activities will be carried out in compliance with Dutch legislation and the Certificeringsschema Opsporen Ontplofbare Oorlogsresten (CS-OOO).
NjordIC has extensive experience in the Dutch offshore sector, supporting projects such as Nederwiek, Doordewind, IJmuiden Ver, Borssele and Hollandse Kust.
