UXO Desktop Study APAC Region
NjordIC is currently conducting a comprehensive UXO Desktop Study in preparation for large-scale port operations in the APAC region. As part of this study, extensive research is being carried out in American archives, among other sources, to obtain the most complete picture possible of potential risks related to unexploded ordnance (UXO) from World War II and later conflicts.
Given the high urgency of the project, it is crucial that the civil works can commence at short notice. To achieve this, a dedicated team of four NjordIC specialists is working around the clock on this assignment. Thanks to our efficient working methods and international research networks, we are able to deliver the full risk assessment within a very short timeframe.
This intensive approach enables our client to start the planned port operations safely and without delay, supported by a solid understanding of the UXO risks in the work area.
