Joost Kock
Joost Kock has a strong academic background in archaeology and history. He earned a master’s degree in archaeology from the University of Groningen, specializing in topics such as Late Paleolithic sites and Early Medieval warrior culture. During his studies, he gained practical experience at BAAC, a commercial archaeological firm, where he conducted historical research, prospecting, and prepared archaeological advisory reports, including one for the municipality of Deurne.
Joost has extensive experience in fieldwork in both the Netherlands and Germany and is proficient in using GIS software for analysis and reporting. His expertise primarily lies in assessing historical research and developing project-specific risk analyses, a field where he combines his passion for history with practical applications.
