UXO ALARP GI works German Bight
NjordIC recently supported a prominent subsea contractor in achieving UXO (Unexploded Ordnance) ALARP sign-off for geotechnical investigation locations within an offshore wind farm development area in the German Bight. Leveraging its expertise, NjordIC processed and evaluated available magnetometry data to ensure the safe execution of planned investigations.
The project focused on multiple designated investigation boxes, each requiring thorough assessment to meet ALARP (As Low As Reasonably Practicable) safety standards. NjordIC’s detailed evaluations culminated in the issuance of UXO ALARP certificates for each box, clearing the way for safe and efficient geotechnical operations.
This achievement highlights NjordIC’s commitment to supporting renewable energy projects with pragmatic, efficient, and transparent UXO risk management solutions.
