Historical Research/UXO Threat Assessment

In this phase of the project, we are focusing on systematically gathering extensive and relevant war-related data. This data collection is crucial for accurately assessing and analyzing the research area. Our goal is to determine whether there are indications of suspicious activities and, if so, to identify which types of explosives may be present.

NjordIC has an extensive database, a robust network of contacts and access to various key archives. These include The National Archives in London, the Bundesarchiv-Militärarchiv in Freiburg, the National Archives in Washington, and numerous local archives. Additionally, we collaborate with reputable local historians and experts who can provide us with valuable insights into the specific context of the research area.

Our approach involves a thorough evaluation of all available data, including military documents, maps, reports, and other relevant sources. We apply advanced analytical methods to interpret and integrate the collected information. This enables us to create a detailed picture of the situation and effectively map potential risks.

With this comprehensive and systematic approach, we can not only formulate accurate answers to the posed questions but also provide our clients with sound advice on possible next steps. This can range from initiating further investigations to implementing safety measures, depending on the specific findings.
